Dear Colleagues, Pursuant to Darcy's request sent to the list on Friday, please complete this linked poll, which will be used to gauge IRT consensus with respect to any potential policy implications raised by the current IRT debate on the draft LEA framework specification, https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CMGF8FZ. Please complete this poll no later than your end of day Friday, 9 March. I've also included a couple of questions related to the reporting specification, to ensure we collect as many IRT member views on this topic as possible. For our meeting tomorrow, we will have a presentation from the Finance team with more information about the proposed program fees schedule. Hi Steve, Yes, we can discuss these issues tomorrow if the IRT would like to do so. These questions were included on this poll because we thought that would be more efficient than sending two separate polls. We’ve heard significant feedback from the registrar members of the group on this reporting topic, but want to encourage all IRT members to share their views—hence, the poll. Amy, Because the consensus survey about referral to the Council is a specific process under the IRT Guidelines, I’m not sure it should be combined with a survey about issues currently being discussed by the IRT (especially given Steve’s comments regarding intended discussion at the next meeting). Hi everyone, I’m no longer affiliated to a government, GAC or PSWG, however I’m still on the IRT membership (I checked!), and wanted to share a couple of thoughts in my personal capacity. Regarding the 24hr turnaround for High Priority requests, when preparing the original drafts of the LEA framework, we were very careful to keep it consistent with the 2013 RAA. In this regard, I agree with Steve Metalitz’ assessment on the previous thread. I think that is still the case and, as such, I don’t personally think there are substantive new policy issues which require sending this back to the GNSO council. I think all the elements are there for this to work, but maybe a little more detail might help find the middle ground, and cover off the issues of risk, liability and cost. Happy to share further thoughts should people feel it may be of help. I’d like to commend everyone for the ongoing work, I think you’re doing really well, and I think you’re very close to wrapping this up. Because the consensus survey about referral to the Council is a specific process under the IRT Guidelines, I’m not sure it should be combined with a survey about issues currently being discussed by the IRT (especially given Steve’s comments regarding intended discussion at the next meeting).

I’ve also included a couple of questions related to the reporting specification, to ensure we collect as many IRT member views on this topic as possible.
For our meeting tomorrow, we will have a presentation from the Finance team with more information about the proposed program fees schedule. We can also discuss any issues you would like to raise related to the updated PPAA draft that was distributed last week and the proposed agenda for the IRT meeting at ICANN61.
