Just adding my thanks to everyone as well, with special mention to Saewon and Dan for pulling the pieces of the Final report together. BIG milestone achieved! Please take a moment to celebrate and pat yourselves on the back for your significant contribution to this important piece of work. For most of you this has been a three and a half year commitment and I am very appreciative of the collaborative, respectful and friendly way that you have all approached this work. I’m really proud to have been your Chair. I won’t miss the 10pm calls, but I will miss the interactions with you all. I also want to take a moment to thank Steve Chan. While Steve may not have been the most visible of our support team he was the one supporting and guiding behind the scenes for the duration of the EPDP. He found Dan and Saewon to replace Emily and Ariel and ensured an almost seamless transition. He was also instrumental in ensuring that our request for a face-to-face meeting was supported. Indeed, this has been the most congenial working group I have had the pleasure to have been a part of – I always use the IDN EPDP as the golden standard of what a policy development process could be and should be. Thank you to Donna our chair who steered us through with aplomb, the fantastic staff support from Ariel, Emily, Saewon, Dan and Steve, Sarmad and Pitinan who provided us the depth of expert knowledge and guidance, Michael for guidance from the org side. Our board liaisons Alan and Edmon for your active participation (really useful now that the council is looking at board readiness in general). And to my fellow EPDP members and colleagues thank you for all your collaborative work. Congratulations to all of us! From the ALAC team, this has been a tremendous learning experience, and a great example of working together harmoniously even when there were differences of position. Donna's leadership has been exemplary, and the diligent work of Staff has added to the experience.
