Dear IGO/INGO IRT, Thanks for coming together on a short notice at ICANN60 to support this implementation. Thanks Mr. Tanaka for calling in also. Per your request, attached is the XML file. As a reminder, the reserved names list is provided on the IRT wiki page: https://community.icann.org/display/IIPIRT/Documentation?preview=/56136698/7... You will also find the table I used at the meeting to explain the changes to the reserved names list https://community.icann.org/display/IIPIRT/Documentation?preview=/56136698/7... and the INGO names list. https://community.icann.org/display/IIPIRT/Documentation?preview=/56136698/7... At the moment, thanks to your support, we’ve managed to resolve all issues and entering into preparing phase for publication. We’ve not received any objections to our approach or the list, only support. We are currently targeting 1 December 2017 for announcement and publication. On this date, the reserved list will be updated and legal notice will be issued to the registries and registrars also. With this publication date, the effective dates will be 2. Policy Effective Dates 2.1 For the Red Cross, IOC, and IGOs, the Policy is effective for all gTLD Registry Operators and ICANN-accredited Registrars no later than 1 August 2018 2.2 For the INGOs, the Policy is effective for all gTLD Registry Operators and ICANN-accredited Registrars 12-months after the release of the INGO Claims System Specification. The reason for 1 August 2018 date is to sync up with our policy implementation calendar. We try to use 1 Feb and 1 Aug as much as we can to make it easier for affected parties to remember. It provides more than the minimum 6 month of implementation time and also keep in mind that “no later than” approach allows the registration earlier. Please let me hear from you if you have any last minute lingering thoughts about our implementation.
