Hi again, Following up on this. I thought the IRT would want to know that the GNSO Council is scheduled to hold a discussion on the recent letter submitted to it by this IRT on emerging privacy issues and “thick” whois implementation. The call is scheduled to take place on Thursday19 January 2017 at UTC 21:00. The full meeting agenda can be found here: https://community.icann.org/display/gnsocouncilmeetings/Proposed+Final+Agend... Also, if folks would like to listen in, a live audio stream during the Council meeting should be available here: http://stream.icann.org:8000/stream01.m3u[stream.icann.org] Thanks. Amr

Hi,
As requested, I’ve submitted the letter to the GNSO Council on behalf of the IRT. Noting that the IRT is not actually recommending that the Council take any action at this time, I will do my best to brief the IRT on any discussions that take place on Council as a result of the letter being submitted.
Thanks.
Amr

Dear Amr - GNOS Council Liaison for the Thick Whois IRT
Thank you for standing by and supporting the IRT throughout this process. There is no further comment from the IRT on the final draft and therefore, the attached letter is now ready for submission to the GNSO Council. Please accept the attached letter of notification from the Thick Whois IRT regarding the emerging privacy issues.
