Dear all, I take Tapani's points. Both that these are edge cases (although probably not exclusive to Finnish) and the desirability of finding a way to address them. It seems that we could provide an exception process. One requiring that the applicant show that the specific case (necessarily words, not acronyms) involves distinct words in a specific language. That way, we maintain the same entity principle in general, while acknowledging that there may be cases where specific considerations make it undesirable.
