ICANN board seat #14 election
Dear Avri, the CSG EXCOM just met on a phone call to discuss the ongoing election for ICANN board seat #14. We decided the following which I’m honoured to inform you about on behalf of the EXCOM: In case the 2nd election round should not be finished with one succeding candidate (according to the rules commonly agreed within the NCPH) we then would like to invite you to meet with representatives of the entire NCPH (CSG EXCOM + corresponding NCSG reps). This call should be used - to better know and clarify candidates’ positions on various ICANN related issues - to deeper explore common grounds between the candidates and the NCPH Our suggestion for a call with you is April 14 or 15 at a time meeting the global requirements of the NCPH at best. I would appreciate your confirmation. A separate corresponding invitation is sent to Bill Graham. Best regards Wolf-Ulrich on behalf of CSG EXCOM

Dear Avri, I appreciate your willingness to meet with the combined NCPH representatives. However - as I noticed short after sending the first invitation and tried to correct - it was not the CSG's intention at this time to have an exchange on NCPH level rather than on CSG level with both candidates in separate sessions. Meeting on combined NCPH level is a good idea and should be not excluded. Perhaps the NCSG side of the house could also find this approach useful and go along with. I herewith repeat the invitation to you to meet with representatives of the entire CSG and would be happy about your confirmation. Date and time will immediately be fixed. Hi Wolf-Ulrich, Thanks for this proposal, Just to clarify, are you suggesting to have one call for NCPH(CSG + NCSG) with the two candidates in the same time? If yes, I think that we can agree on that . hope that next time ,CSG and NCSG can discuss together about such setting in more earlier stage.
