Hi All, I thought I would add a piece of good news - albeit a bit off topic. My documentary, The Computers, had its world premiere this past Saturday at the Seattle International Film Festival. As some of you know, it is the untold story of six young women who programmed the US's first all-electronic, programmable computer as part of a secret WWII project. They did not receive credit when the ENIAC was unveiled in 1946, after the war ended, and it took over sixty years for us to find and tell their story. It's a great story -- and we played to a sold-out and very receptive audience. In the midst of our robust dialogue and exchange, I wanted to share this good news. Best, Kathy

Kathy Is the film available online anywhere so the rest of us can see it? :) Regards Michele -- Mr Michele Neylon Blacknight Solutions Hosting & Colocation, Domains http://www.blacknight.co/ http://blog.blacknight.com/ http://www.technology.ie Intl. +353 (0) 59 9183072 Locall: 1850 929 929 Direct Dial: +353 (0)59 9183090 Fax. +353 (0) 1 4811 763 Twitter: http://twitter.com/mneylon ------------------------------- Blacknight Internet Solutions Ltd, Unit 12A,Barrowside Business Park,Sleaty Road,Graiguecullen,Carlow,Ireland Company No.: 370845 -----Original Message----- From: gnso-ppsai-pdp-wg-bounces@icann.org [mailto:gnso-ppsai-pdp-wg-bounces@icann.org] On Behalf Of Kathy Kleiman Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2014 3:08 PM To: PPSAI Subject: [Gnso-ppsai-pdp-wg] some good news Hi All, I thought I would add a piece of good news - albeit a bit off topic. Congrats, Kathy. I'm always interested when there's the 'real' story revealed. Congratulations Kathy. The contributions of women to the field of computer science are many and great (and often untold). I’m very much looking forward to watching it!
