I hope this specific example of one purpose and associated use cases is helpful to better understand how these terms are used in the WG's charter, and also how the EWG's use cases relate to the EWG's recommendations.
I haven't really considered the EWG's report in this discussion. ;) However looking at their report, it seems like they were using use cases in exactly the same way that we are. (It's hard to know, because as you say they didn't publish theirs, but the examples they give seem to match.) Cheers, -- Shane
