but either an annual email to registrants (I get enough as it is trying to up sell me additional registrar services) or a couple of reminder emails prior to the expiry date.
That, or a similar scheme, would allow the registrant to be keep informed - a service frequently not there now
Those are already requirements and policies - if you are aware of registrars not sending annual wdrp reminders, pre-expiry notices and post expiry notices, feel free to report the registrar to compliance. Registrants are "entitled" to the masses of mandated communications (and aren't even allowed to opt-out which itself is a constant cause of complaints, and possibly even illegal in some jurisdictions) Rob
