Dear Scoping Team Members: We wanted to provide you with an update. We incorporated all of your proposed edits into the Scoping Paper for the GNSO Council and delivered the paper to the Council in time for the documents deadline. Please see attached. During the upcoming GNSO Council meeting, the GNSO Council will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on ICANN, the ICANN Community, and around its ability to conduct Council work. This will include an evolving discussion on planning and prioritization, as its prior discussions in January has been overtaken by events. In light of this discussion, GNSO Council Leadership has asked Support Staff to remove the consideration of the Transfer Policy Issue Report motion from this week’s meeting agenda. Instead, the Council will discuss the report from the Transfer Policy Scoping Team and consider possible next steps, including the request of an Issue Report on the Transfer Policy.
