IFR: Initial Report Template and SubGroup Calls
Hi IFRT; Topic #1 out of 2: Initial Report Template I have prepared a draft Initial Report template for your review and discussion at the next Plenary Call which will be 23-June-2020: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10z8ABLYqcx6yFNmCKXIWXWIxTNzO7148/edit This draft may be altered in any way the team sees fit – it is not a mandated template. I reviewed Reports from other reviews and choose the layout I found cleanest in order to give you a (researched) starting point for your discussions on the report format. I laid out the team’s finding according to the IFR Scope from the Bylaws. Since you have done your work by contract section, I matched up which contract sections align with which scope requirement. I selected this method in order to show how the IFRT met the scope requirements. However, we can flip it- instead lay out your findings by contract section, and make a reference to how reviewing that contract section aligns to the Bylaw scope. Topic #2 out of 2: Subgroup Calls Team members have completed 3 out of 4 special topic calls. I have added the zoom recordings to your wiki, so you can access the recordings here: Subgroup Call: .int at https://community.icann.org/display/ifr/Subgroup+Call%3A+.int Subgroup Call: User Guides, Computing Systems, and Root Zone Maintainer at https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=138969340 And I’ve also added notes from those meetings into your contract breakdown spreadsheet with a new column G. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1liYwq83mQa9rRkuPwqt7ZoUDVtN-yT_c/edi... Hi Amy, Thank you for this. Much appreciated. I think the template has a good layout to start with and like you pointed out, there are two things the team needs to decide on, in addition to accepting the template. 1. Whether to lay out our findings by contract sections or by Bylaws sections 2. Whether to write our findings by using either of two options - Option 1: Write some summary text in this document and refer to Spreadsheet for details. - Option 2: Write all findings from ALL CONTRACT SECTIONS in this document. Keen to hear your thoughts on these on the call next week team, or even on this thread. Tomslin On Tue, 16 Jun 2020 at 06:27, Amy Creamer <amy.creamer@icann.org> wrote:
