Joe, I wanted to say during the call that I think this is a very useful document, if developed as a set of talking points or key messages, that we can agree on as the “current status” of our work. I agree it’s incomplete but I think if we continue to update it, then it will be a living document, and useful at any time. We don’t have any “representatives” or spokespeople, so this is a good way to keep ICG members aligned and consistent in our communications. My EUR 0.02: I agree with Adiel that we should create and maintain an "ICG Brief" with an explanation of the "Who What When Where Why". This is largely a summary of references to existing material. For a self contained version one can copy the references but should always add a version or date i.e. "as of ....". My strawman outline would be. IANA Stewardship Transition What is this? NTIA Statement Contract Documents ICG Charter Memebrship Officers Genesis Charter How to Access Minutes / Documents Contacts Developing the Proposal RFP How to participate. ----- IGF Talking Points + ICG has a single purpose: assemble a proposal - ICG is up and running: charter, officers + Proposal is developed in three major communities + Participate there! - ICG will coordinate and assemble the final proposal - ICG is *not* about creating the proposal or substantive parts of it ---- IGF Document Expand on the talking points with reference to the "ICG Brief" and possibly a high level intro to IGF audience.
