If I remember correctly, in London we decided that we wanted detailed minutes. Personally I would prefer short and focussed minutes, but went with the majority. We should not criticise Sam for delivering what we asked for. Having seen her work in the past, I know that she is very good at pulling key information out from a lot of detail and would probably have been very happy to have done succinct. Based on feedback to the list, I have updated the minutes to show the correct teleconference date and participants list. Because of the minor nature of the edits, I have not created a new version of the minutes but updated the existing copy. Regards Sam
Samantha: I want to express my appreciation for the thoroughness of this document, but I would ask that the minutes take the form of _minutes_ – that is, condensed encapsulation of key points, motions and decisions – rather than a detailed description of the process. I found these minutes to be close to the transcript. It is difficult to find time to read all of it given the other demands on our time. Yes, and I don't think the attendance list is correct: I was present (as it shows in the minutes). I agree they are too detailed and therefore too precise, however. This means in order to check, we need to review the transcript to cross reference word for word, when our notes on a concept by concept basis would be adequate. Frankly, however, I am extremely glad to not be doing them! Thanks again for the service.
