Process concern regarding the IETF proposal development process
Doh. I just submitted the assessment document that said we did not get any process concerns in the ICG. We’ll need an edit now. For what it is worth, this specific matter that Richard raised has been discussed at length at the IETF (and dismissed). But it definitely needs to be listed in the assessment template. Jari
Alissa: Were these comments "directly shared with the [protocols] operational community?" Question A2 of the assessment form asks us this. Since I am filling out the form, I do not know how to answer that question. From what I can tell, these comments were only sent to the ICG comment list and not copied to the IETF ianaplan WG leaders. Obviously Jari is now aware of them, but it would be better if the comments were sent by Alissa to the ianaplan list. Then I can answer A2 'yes.' --MM From: internal-cg-bounces@icann.org [mailto:internal-cg-bounces@icann.org] On Behalf Of Alissa Cooper Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2015 2:07 PM To: ICG Subject: [Internal-cg] Process concern regarding the IETF proposal development process http://forum.icann.org/lists/icg-forum/msg00017.html

I’ll add that Richard has repeatedly made a similar concerns known during several stages of the IETF process. So, I think the answer to A2 is indeed yes. Who has the token of the protocol parameters assessment editing? You, Milton? Jari
Do we need tokens? I am working from the draft you sent, though.
