ICANN call for Trusted Community Representatives for KSK Process
ICANN has issued a call for Trusted Community Representatives (TCRs), who hold portions of the cryptographic Key Signing Key (KSK) used to maintain the security of the root zone, or act as back-ups to those who do. The main active responsibility is to attend KSK Ceremonies and provide the portion of the KSK as required. The TCRs are supposed to act as "ambassadors on behalf of the technical and operational communities," so it is not clear if IPC members (who were not also members of the "operational community") would be eligible to serve. But if anyone's interested, they can ask, or I'd be happy to ask as a general matter.
