Dear All: Here are a few ideas on how to help the list translations work better. First and most important: write in clear, simple language, using basic good grammar, and short sentences. This will greatly help the translation interface to produce a good result. Secondly, if you forward an email from someone else, and the forward includes quote marks like the >¹ and creates line breaks, the text will not translate properly. This is because the translation engine assumes that a line break is the end of a sentence, and so it tries to translate each line separately. This causes the translation quality to go down dramatically. -- Regards, Nick Ashton-Hart Director for At-Large Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Main Tel: +33 (450) 40 46 88 USA DD: +1 (310) 578-8637 Fax: +41 (22) 594-85-44 Mobile: +41 (79) 595 54-68 email: nick.ashton-hart@icann.org Win IM: ashtonhart@hotmail.com / AIM/iSight: nashtonhart@mac.com / Skype: nashtonhart Online Bio: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ashtonhart
