Desde: crg@isoc-cr.org Thank you for your excellent Aida clarification. My position is that mangers have their own group ccTLDs in ICANN, ccNSO through. I agree that the ccNSO is the source main policy development for reference topics, both the first and the second level. With all due respect I do not consider appropriate it ALAC and / or LACRALO who must take a position for or against of between governments and the respective managers of ccTLDs. croe that is subject to elucidate between the ccNSO and the GAC, which currently these issues (both CWG ccNSO GNSO on the Use of Country discuss an Territory Names such as GAC WG on Geographic Names). The fact of the governments of the LAC region have ignored the call concerned is itself already very worrying.I only suggest know and first consider the respective positions and efforts, commenting reports directly to both the GAC and the ccNSO processes public consultation before advancing our opinion based on LACTLD letter only.

Dear WG Members,
Of particular interest to sub team 2 in its work on reserved names, but possibly others as well –
The CWG on Use of Country and Territory Names as TLDs has released two reports in advance of ICANN57:
- A progress report discussing the group’s work to date and outlining recommendations for future work
- A draft of the CWG’s Interim Report, which will be subject to public comment before becoming the group’s Final Report
Both reports are attached and available at https://community.icann.org/display/CWGOUCNT/Output+and+Draft+Documents .
Kind regards, Emily
