The characters under study are: EÑE - CEDILLA - TILDE Until the previous survey, such registration could not be carried out in the following countries: PERU – SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – PARAGUAY – PANAMA – NICARAGUA – MEXICO – JAMAICA – HAITI – GUYANA – ECUADOR – DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – COSTA RICA – BARBADOS Countries that accept some of these characters, but not all three: URUGUAY – EL SALVADOR – CHILE – BRAZIL – BOLIVIA The rest of the countries accept all these characters. The insistence we make from the WG IDN Multilingualism is for we can collaborate with end users in the processing of their IDN records.
