The Secretariat believes the LACRALO General Assembly at Mexico City would give all of us a great opportunity to get to know a possible appointee. The Secretariat therefore proposes that LACRALO consider the nomination of candidates on this list with a vote to be taken at the LACRALO GA. This effectively places the election of a LACRALO ALAC Representative on the Agenda for the GA. Assuming acceptance, the Secretariat further suggest that nominations for ALAC representative form LACRALO be open from 1st February and close 2300 UTC 15th February, 2009.
