I would like to nominate Maritza Agüero, from Peru, for the position of NomCom Delegate.
Maritza is an outstanding professional and a very influential academic in her field. country. She is a lawyer by profession, university professor and lecturer, from what I know of his professional career and I have shared spaces in the world of Internet Governance at a regional and global level.
By way of professional experience, Maritza has two Master's degrees and has been a fellow of several international organizations, such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Korean Intellectual Property Agency International Cooperation (KOICA), Japan Cooperation Agency International (JICA), University of California, Davis, among others important institutions.
Likewise, Maritza has been an ICANN Fellow and Coach and former Secretary of LACRALO, promoting the mediation process that we all already know. It also has with full command of the English language.
She is the Founder and President of the Center for Governance Studies of Internet of the Faculty of Law of the University of San Martín de Porres, which is one of the most prominent universities in its country where, From this space, it promotes Internet Governance and the IGF Peru, having participated in joint activities with ICANN, LACNIC, ISOC, among other institutions.
For these reasons, knowing the outstanding professionalism of Maritza, I think that, due to your professional experience, it is be highly recommended for this position that I am pleased to nominate.
