Goot is a software program for Windows and Linux which can translate single words and whole sentences using Google Translate. It supports all the language combinations Google supports and can also autodetect which language the source text was written in. Other useful features : - option to stay on top of other windows so you can drag and drop text - support global hotkeys so you can switch to Goot anytime using a keyboard combination of your choice I tried it for the LACRALO teleconference yesterday to translate comments from Skype Chat and it worked very well.
