Les escribo desde Pekin para comentarles que se ha abierto una puerta para apoyar la objeción por parte del ALAC del punto Patagonia y consecuentemente por el punto Amazonas.
En el día de hoy 3 ALSs ( Internauta Argentina, Asociación de Software libre de Ecuador y ADIT Chile), han presentado una declaración a favor de la objeción del .patagonia ( ver anexo). Coincidiendo también con la declaración de la CEPAL del día 5 de abril, reafirmando su compromiso de estrechar colaboración regional en temas la Sociedad de la Información.

La participación de Sergio Salinas Porto fue clara y vital para que todo el ALAC tenga una visión global de la repercusión que tendría sobre la comunidad de la Patagonia argentina y chilena en el caso que este nuevo GTLD se aprobase.
Este mismo documento será presentado en estos días ante el GAC, para manifestar la opinión de la sociedad civil sobre este tema.
