Estimados, no tengo tiempo en estos momentos de buscar antecedentes, así que haré un resumen sobre este tema.
El último evento del año está referido a la Transición IANA. Estamos preparando una presentación que dirá Quien Es ICANN, Que hace, Como lo Su contrato con el gobierno de los Estados Unidos, y las consecuencias de la finalización del mismo. Esta presentación estará lista para ser consensuada luego de la reunión de Los Angeles.
Será un resumen de cómo está el tema a la fecha. En Buenos Aires está casi confirmado para fines de noviembre, y estamos esperando el compromiso de nuestras ALSs en el resto de nuestra Región. Algunas ALSs preguntaron si había más de una ALS en los respectivos países, podrían hacerse en diferentes ciudades, la respuesta fue si, con seguridad. Hasta sería muy conveniente.
Debemos invitara concurrir a todos los componentes del modelo de múltiples partes interesadas. Seguro habrá una discusión luego de la presentación, y será la realimentación para que podamos continuar trabajando en la transición.
En algún momento esto fue citado como la semana de LACRALO, pero no fue satisfactorio para alguien, y no se lo llamó así nunca más.
También habíamos dicho que si la ALS no tenía estructura ni medios para hacerlo, yo me ofrecía para hablar con el gobierno local, para lograr el apoyo necesario.
Este tema también será charlado personalmente con Rodrigo de la Parra aquí en Los Angeles.
Espero que por ahora sea suficiente.
