Looking at the thread, I am assuming that a member has invoked Title VII Section 24 of the MoP. That is, an official challenge to one or the other. member on "*an emerging conflict of interest*" (CoI). But absent an official notice presented to the Secretariat and/or staff and presented to all members via the discussion list, one cannot be sure. This must be stated unequivocally. A notice invoking Title VII, Section 24, is only properly filed when the member alleging a CoI identifies themselves and publicly states the basis for that member's perceived "emerging conflict of interest" on the general Discussion List. Let's be clear, this can't be a complaint of unfounded concern at a party. fueled by malice or ignorance. Bringing a personal grievance to members exposes that member to a charge of discrediting this body, malice aforethought, and behavior detrimental to the courtesy of this community. Plus, it's a distraction and a waste of valuable volunteer time, which, at the very least, exposes the member to a vote of no confidence at the next community meeting.
