Hi José Not saying that I agree with Carlton's views, but as a member of LACRALO, he, as all members, should be free to state his views, bring up any issue etc. Or is it that the only rights that one has as a member in LACRALO is to vote for officers, and thereafter sit back and shut up and only those appointees are permitted to raise issues? I agree that everyone has the right to ask for anything, but that doesn´t grant the right do comply. I can´t understand why is Carlton running this matter and not the RALO authorities. They haven´t said a word For thing like this is that people think what they think about our institution. To reopen this voting process in unfair especaily if there was no discussion whatsoever to do it, it was just one peopel request. Oh - I thought u were referring to the email about la vs caribbean. Otherwise, there's no evidence that Carlton made any decisions, he complained publicly. Maybe others did so privately. Jose & Dev made the decision as far as i know. Not Carlton. I doubt he "ran" anything. But they did send an email last night explaining, so I hope everything is clear. Just to wait on ALAC now. Dear All, My humble perception is that now the situation is clear. Carlton´s contribution is always important, and it was this time too. Currently, Carlos Vera - despite hi dissagreed with the procedure- is not making any institutional complaint. I really cellebrate his last email to the list. This morning, the new chair, José Arce, gave a perfectly suitable explanation of how LACRALO´s procedure worked. We can now go back to our business.
