If we do the first hour of capacitacin with Janice and Fellows (in this gathering I'll be participating as a Fellow by third time), it is important to bear in mind some points that respect in those meetings. Meetings begin every day at 7 in the morning. Breakfast is offered to trainees before the meetings. Therefore to the 7 of the morning, had breakfast and we all must be seated and orderly meeting in the lounge. This is something that Janice made us respect always, what we all used to it and it will be important for look at all. The Fellowship Program usually involves people from different around the world, from different cultures, customs too different from our reginy in this case, several of the Fellows will be participating for the first time (with the fears, doubts and nerves that implies). Janice enseoa we also respect all people, whatever their language, learn to listen to each other and let all speak and express our opinion.Normally from LACRALO, we used to be more passionate in our comments as we the word. I would like to ask us to consider this point if we share our first time together with capacitacin Fellows. It would also be important that we can report, in the case of making the first hour with the Fellows, if we are to have interpretation Simultaneous in different languages, and that the meetings of the Fellows Simultaneous interpretation not normally have. Quiero ponerlos al tanto de como están dándose las cosas respecto de los eventos que se realizaran en la reunión 43 de ICANN en Costa Rica y me gustaría un feedback lo mas pronto que puedan respecto de los temas, ya que hay que confirmar fechas al personal de ICANN.

*1) ASAMBLEA GENRAL: *

La asamblea General esta programada para en un principio, y no hay nada confirmado, para realizarse en 3 días. El primer día seria el lunes con una duración de dos horas, otra el miércoles y una de una hora el jueves. Tendríamos en total 5 horas para discutir.

Me gustaría también que opinaran sobre los temas a tratar durante la asamblea general. Es decir llegar al día con la agenda armada y poder todo llegar a esos días y aprovechar al máximo las horas que tenemos.

*2) SHOWCASE: *

Me urge solicitarles a todos la colaboración de que junten de sus ALSes fotos, armen algún video corto contando quienes son y que hacen y en una pagina solamente cuenten la historia de su asociación

Pongo a disposición de ustedes una lista con los oradores posibles del evento para que ustedes puedan opinar y proponer.

El Show case de AFRALO en Senegal tuvo como tema principal INTERNET DEVELOPMENT AND AFRICAN PARTICIPATION.

Todo servirá para que el Grupo de Trabajo de Showcase pueda terminar de armar la agenda del evento en cuanto a:

- Determinar el dia del evento

- A quien deberíamos invitar como oradores?

- Quien/es hablara/n durante el evento

- Determinar el orden de las disertaciones.

- Colectar y organizar el material de todas las ALSes para el Showcase

- Decidir cual va a ser el material que se va a presentar

- Determinar si va a haber bandas de música local y algún grupo de danza

- Posible mesa con canapes y un aperitivo.

*3) PROGRAMA DE CAPACITACION: *

Como se hablo en la teleconferencia pasada, la idea es compartir algunos días con el programa de becados que lleva adelante Janice y seria compartir solamente la primera hora (de dos) para aprovechar los oradores que ya se comprometieron y que abarca gran parte de las temáticas que se sacaron de la encuesta, y la hora restante seria propia de la Región.

Personalmente hable con Janice y los días domingo y viernes estaríamos excluidos ya que son eventos personales del programa de Becas. Lo que quedaría solamente compartir de lunes a jueves, agenda que aun no tengo en mi poder pero la estaré pidiendo.

* *Asi mismo y tendiendo una idea de los temas a tratar, tomando como base el programa de AFRALO de Senegal, estamos armando la agenda del programa de capacitación. Solicitamos sigan enviando a la lista o personalmente sus opiniones y temas e los que están interesados.

*Aclaracion: *Muchos me preguntaron que ALSes recibirían financiamiento y cuales no. Tema que no quedo claro.

Como se lo explico en la teleconferencia y en algún mail, ICANN tiene fondos para 29 ALSes, las cuales no tienen para este encuentro ningún tipo de financiamiento previo, ya que las que ya tienen que son 9 están excluidas.

Ejemplo: Ageia Densi, Internauta Argentina, TTCS; Universidad de WI y APADIT, no están incluidas. Como asi tambien las ALSes que manifestaron no necesitar financiamiento y aquellas que un representante esta financiado por estar en un grupo de trabajo.

Si de las 29 ALSes restantes algunas de ellas no confirmaran, se tratara de aprovechar esos lugares con los representantes de las ALSes que durante la AG no pudieran votar. Ya que muchos manifestaron en la lista y durante las ultimas teleconferencias y con razón, que dichas asociaciones no tendrán representación con derecho a voto en la Asamblea General y merecen tenerlo.
