Dear Vanda, et all, I would like to ask if there is any concrete and specific circumstance which merits that the LACRALO election process be called into question. As I explained in my earlier email, ICANN Staff has been updating the WIKI, monitoring BOTH Mailists and working with the LACRALO Secretariat and Chair, to ensure the process is transparent, fair and that ALL members of LACRALO had a chance to send nominations, support candidates, etc. The election process is taking place according to LACRALO's CURRENT ROPs,( however good or bad), this is what LACRALO has at the moment, and this is the procedure that is being followed. Es dificil pasar por alto los comentarios respecto de la legitimidad de este proceso eleccionario, me recuerda que se ha experimentado antes y lo doloroso que son estos procesos para todos.
Es por ello, de ser posible, sea oportuno aperturar por una semana el registro de candidatos para este proceso eleccionario y conformar un comité electoral, tal lo planteado por el Dr. Pisanty, me parece sensato y razonable.
Una apertura a estas dos acciones, coadyuvará a la legitimidad de los resultados.
