Dear all, I wish to thank all the members who voted to select the MEAC-SWG member to serve on the Steering Committee of the 2019 MEAC-SIG to take place in Rabat, Morocco during 8-12 July 2019. I hereby announce the results as follows: The total number of votes cast were: 33 (out of 58 members), which were distributed as follows: 1. Zakir Syed: 17 (51.5%) 2. Ahmed Bakhat: 9 (27.3%) 3. Hanan Khatib: 6 (18.2%) 4. Hago Dafalla: 1 (3%) I will therefore proceed to forward Zakir's name to the MEAC-SIG Secretariat as the selected member. While we congratulate and wish the best to Zakir in his role in MEAC-SIG, we must also express our deep gratitude to Ahmed, Hanan and Hago for their participation in this democratic process.
