[MEAC-SWG] MEAC strategy 2016-2019 comments

Dear all, While I support ICANN’s Middle East and Adjoining Countries 2016-2019 Strategy,I feel that it does not address the existing political environment. we should target the right and more influent bodies/community/stakeholder in order to garantee results we should work with goverments which are actuelly leading and influencing the internet ecosystem (they are more for ITU then ICANN and we need perhaps actions with the GAC in order to involve more the Gvts of middle eas countries .....) In terms of awarness and engagements I suggest a greater target on academia in the region (universities ) in order to build local expertise in Internet governance and policymakers Best regards,
