The desired outcome of this plenary session is to have the ICANN community identify and discuss a strategy and possible actions that can be taken to combat DNS abuse over the long term. The ICANN community has had substantial discussions about the existence and extent of DNS abuse – now is the time to move toward solutions. They will present on the current gaps in technology for the Universal Acceptance (UA) of all domain names and email addresses, and discuss how to best organize the remediation efforts to address these challenges.
