Hi all, I apologize for not being able to make the calls on the GA. Various reasons. I ask a nagging question given the difficulty of syncing up the NARALO GA with ARIN: *Why do we need to do this?* I've been to a number of ARIN meetings and I'm very aware of its function (I still own a Class C block). There is SO SO little in common between ARIN functions and what NARALO needs to do that IMO the two meetings can be safely decoupled. I understand that co-location is a very nice-to-have but clearly the timing is causing people grief and forcing some to cancel. (Frankly, I wasn't able to make the original dates but *can* make the new ones.) From what I can gather there are also safety protocol issues which make syncing the two meetings (in California at least) even more difficult than ever. Why not just dispense with linking the two meetings? Just because it was easy to do both in New Orleans doesn't mean we need to do it every time. I prefer to satisfy the inconvenience of NARALO members over the inconvenience of separate ARIN and NARALO meetings. Evan Leibovitch, Toronto Canada @evanleibovitch / @el56
