But at some point, I think, we should not make Canada hostage to the inaction of the United States. How long do we give U.S. organizations to join before we move on without them? Perhaps we ought to set a deadline and say we're moving on after that. The US is 90% of the population. In my opinion, we need a significant number of US ALSs to be considered representative of North America and I do not think that having a RALO primarily populated by Canadian groups will help the US ALS cause. Perhaps unfortunate, but that is my opinion unless someone can convince me otherwise.
