Hi Evan, As an fyi, several other registars have accused KnujOn of sloppy research and Volker has also stated on CircleID that standard audit procedures were not followed. I responded to Volker (on CircleID) asking for information about what standards we missed. He never responded. We have asked many times for registrars to point out any evidence of sloppy research. None have done that. There were two items of contention brought up. Once was about the RAA requirement to have the address and phone of the registrar on the web site. We take that to mean on the front page or in an About Us or Contact page, the "spirit of the law" being that it should be easy to identify the registrar. In this case the information was on the fifth level in an agreement form. The registrar believes it is following the "letter of law". The second issue was that of a registar being listed in the US state where its business is located. The registration was in fact there, but very difficult to find, even admitted to by the registrar. We do not think that this sloppy research either, because we believe the average consumer should not have to jump through hoops to find out this sort of information. Otherwise, the charges of sloppy research is just an ad hominem attack because the registrars are unhappy about what we said, but cannot find any real mistakes. The report was 95 pages. The only issues brought up are the two mentioned above and we know the registrars have been reading it, looking for errors. Of course, we make no claims to being perfect and will correct any real errors we make. --bob Garth>> -Unresponsive Registrars Garth>> Garth>> As noted above, there are many Registrars who would not disclose Garth>> their Port 43 address.
