Glenn McKnight, NOMCOM Rep My final report for this year's NOMCOM 2020 as the NARALO rep. We recently successful selected all of the seven positions for ICANN NOMCOM in very unique and challenging circumstances. The entire team of fourteen voting members, leadership team of three and the ICANN staff spent six days straight for eight hours a day mulling over in detail the submitted materials and we conducted almost one hour interviews with the Board and the PTI Board candidates. No interviews for the ALAC, CNSO and GNSO. All done remotely using ZOOM. A first for ICANN NOMCOM. Special shout out to Gregory Shatan as the incoming ALAC member and congrats to Javier Rua as the new CcNSO member Hats off to those members from Asia who needed to be up very late for the calls. We strove for the highest level of fairness and transparency for the process After six days of interviews, we did have another full day for the final selection meeting. We did reach agreement on the nomination for all the seven positions, as you can see below *ICANN Board of Directors* Sarah Deutsch (North America) Avri Doria (North America) Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) Board of Directors James Gannon (Europe) At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) Pari Esfandiari (Europe) Gregory Shatan (North America) Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) Council Javier Rúa-Jovet (North America) Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council Olga Cavalli (Latin America and the Caribbean Islands) Those selected will begin their terms after the ICANN69 Virtual Annual General Meeting, which runs from 13-22 October 2020.
