well ... of course there is money, but we've no idea how little it takes to take just the silly footage i shot in singapore and cut a 3minshort that says "here's how the alac works" or "here's kurt and alac", and a news reader calmly and coherently runs through a three minute read of alac-esque issues, useful icann trivia, and needs only the sound track replaced for the same or similar translated 3min text read in a basket of languages. how many hits would it get on the social platforms? i've no idea, but as a cost item it seems tractible. somehow "america's funniest videos" runs off of worse video plus hosts providing voice over with a laugh track and manage to make money, so it may not be over the horizon of the possible. -e
