From what I can ascertain, under the current guidelines even VeriSign would be eligible to become an ALS: 1. they distribute information on relevant ICANN activities and issues; they host domain forums; they involve individual members in relevant ICANN policy development, discussions and decisions. 2. all corporation members are individual internet users 3. they are self-supporting 4. their goals, structure etc. are posted on the internet If VeriSign applied for ALS status, would you regard them as suitably designated representatives of the at-large? --- "Jacqueline A.
