Exactly, and the "cultural linguistic" group didn't ask to be a constituency so far, to my knowledge.

Guys Not sure if this is helpful to you or not ..
There's a geo applicant group that's made up of the applicants for any geo new tlds ..
Is that what you're talking about?
There's also another group which is focussed on the "cultural linguistic" TLDs - which sort of crosses over with the geos

Hi Garth.
There is no group of the kind Thomas is asking for, at least of which I'm aware.
There has been (and may still be) an organized group of cityTLD applicants, but that's different from getting a list of ALSs based in cities targeted to get a TLD.
Indeed, it is not obvious that all TLD strings that may appear as city TLDs are indeed so:
- The .spa TLD is current under controversy, as a city in Belgium is claiming rights even though the applicants have no interest in the municipal use of the string - The .la TLD is focused on Latin America, not Los Angeles or Louisiana
Also, does an ALS's being based in a city necessarily mean that it is interest in that city's TLD? IMO, even identifying the group Thomas wants to collect may be harder than it looks.

Tom, do you have any idea who runs the group?

Garth,
Regarding the London ICANN meeting...
I'd like to meet with representatives of At-Large Structures from cities that will be acquiring TLDs. The assistance of NARALO in securing space and support for this would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Tom Lowenhaupt

The NARALO Teleconference is scheduled for Monday 3PM ET/12PM PT
The Agenda is here: https://community.icann.org/display/NARALO/NARALO+2014.02.10+Teleconf e rence . As always send me or Glenn additions or corrections.
If you have never attended a NARALO call before there are several access methods. By dialing 1-800-550-6865 you will be prompted to enter a code of 1638 and then say your name. These teleconferences are RECORDED as a public record. We follow rules of procedure, speakers are recognized by the Chair of the call who manages the flow. Anyone may request to speak on an issue. Speakers must clearly identify themselves for the transcript. The calls also have an online visual component that is interactive. This is the Adobe Connect room: http://icann.adobeconnect.com/naralo/. If you have never used the Adobe Connect room before please open the link 15 to 30 minutes ahead of the call time in case you need to install the required software. This interface allows you to enter text chat commentary on the call (which is also preserved) as well as "raise your hand" to speak. The call is broadcast though this interface and you may speak if your computer is enabled with a microphone.
Some general notes:
*The January report is posted: https://community.icann.org/display/NARALO/NARALO+Monthly+Reports+2014. NARALO ALS are welcome to post their own community reports here as well as any ICANN working group activity they wish to share. Please forward your reports to me or Glenn or post them yourself in the appropriate place.
*I will be presenting this afternoon to the Visual Impaired and Blind User Group (VIBUG) at MIT. I am trying to recruit them as an ALS and I believe they will be a strong advocate for their community within ICANN.
*We welcome HETS and Capital Area Globetrotters as new ALSes as well as individual member David Allnutt. HETS will be presenting the Spotlight this month.
Thanks, Garth
