We have an intellectual property lawyer in the NARALO, Seth. Might that be another option? -dharma On Mar 16, 2009, at 4:07 PM, Brendler, Beau wrote:

If necessary, I could probably go as high as 10. I'm getting a lot of encouragement to participate from some circles, and discouragement by others, and will be in a particularly busy work phase, not to mention all the ICANN-related work I am doing at the moment. So I need to weigh the decision carefully as well. To be honest, I can't keep going down roads like the fast flux working group and some of these other yearlong adventures that don't really lead anywhere. Not that this effort will be that, but I can't spread myself too thin.

I'll see if 8 days is workable. It may not be. (sorry!) There's travel support for 2 F2F meetings in hub cities.

I could probably commit to half that time, maybe eight days. I have no travel budget, either. ________________________________________ From: Rosette, Kristina [krosette@cov.com] Sent: Friday, March 13, 2009 3:57 PM To: Brendler, Beau Subject: RE: Participants in the IRT
Thanks, Beau. Is there a number less than that that you could commit to? (Trying to figure out if it's the difference between 12 days or between 5 days.)

I'm glad you pointed this out. I don't think I can promise 15 business days.

Thanks, Beau. Just to confirm - the 15-business day time commitment (excluding travel) over the next two months is workable for you?

Dear Steve and Kristina:
As the deadline is imminent for individuals to submit their names for participating in the IRT, please be advised that two persons from At-Large would like to be participants: Beau Brendler and Vanda Scartezini.
I am emailing you instead of them because in the case of Beau, he has been informed by his doctor that he has pneumonia; he promises me that he will provide the details requested by yourselves for participants in the group shortly. Vanda will also provide the information needed shortly, but asked me to let you know of her interest in joining in the same email I was already sending related to Beau, to make sure that you knew in advance of the deadline.
I hope that this note has arrived in time. At the present, these two are participating in their individual capacity, though Cheryl and the ALAC will be discussing the IRT at their monthly meeting on 24th March and it is quite possible that one or both of them will at that point be designated as representing the ALAC formally.
Please let me know if I can do anything further. Beau and Vanda, as a reminder, the following is the information you are asked to provide to Steve and Kristina as soon as you are able:
