I think the incoming message was part of a digest. I think the reply both sent the whole digest and didn't change the subject line from "NA-Discuss Digest, Vol 7, Issue 57" I think the mailing list software is set so that one or both of these aren't allowed. Digest subscribers might cut and paste in a new message or reply and then edit subject line and quoted portion before sending. Sylvia
