Perhaps it is a fortuitous time to recommend that those interested in the new round attend the session on Latin Diacritics during ICANN Prague. We from the group's Leadership will be presenting our progress and timeline, which might end up still benefitting applicants this round depending on how events unfold. Hi Channel,
It’s been quiet on this list and wanted to reboot us a bit. Don’t forget this list is a platform for you to engage on issues, topics and even questions and suggestions and generally keep you updated on everything Next Round.
This past week, the program achieved some critical milestones that some of you may already be aware of namely.
1. Publishing the complete draft Applicant Guidebook (AGB) for the New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program, for public comment: Please see the announcement here<https://www.icann.org/en/blogs/details/icann-opens-public-comment-on-draft-a...> . This was followed by introductory webinars on the AGB. The Webinar recordings are here<https://icann.zoom.us/rec/play/Fyj_fMPP6VsjoYfkY9eCAtNpfZX1ccRPysW-xqlS09LEY...> in case you missed them 2. Publishing the Next Round Base gTLD Registry Agreement (Next Round RA) for public comment. Please see the announcement here<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-seeks-initial-feedback-...> as well.
Last but not least, just yesterday, a blog on the Applicant support program<https://www.icann.org/en/blogs/details/building-capacity-and-increasing-acce...> was also published. May I also invite those of you joining ICANN83 in Prague to please pass by our Next Round booth, right next to the Main Engagement booth on 2ND floor of the Convention Center , we would like to share ideas, hear from you, and provide the latest of updates you may need. Thank you and Happy Friday Everyone!

Bob.
