Greetings Everyone, On behalf of the NPOC Executive Committee (EC), we are pleased to announce the Community Outreach and Participation (CROP) program for ICANN82, which will sponsor a community member to attend ICANN82, taking place in Seattle, USA from 8 - 13 March 2025 Remember that CROP only covers the following : * Airfare (most economical routing in Economy Class) * Hotel accommodation for a maximum of 4 days/3 nights * Per diem allowance for a maximum of 4 days How to Apply: 1. Check Eligibility: You are eligible if you reside in the following countries/territories Canada, Puerto Rico, or the United States. Also find link to the ICANN GSE Eligibility classification<https://drive.google.com/file/d/14seX2l_Gq5rE97gbr38i1EuUbKRZ5GHl/view> Expectations of the Selected Candidate: * Active Participation: The selected candidate is expected to actively participate in all NCSG/NPOC meeting sessions. * Outreach and Other Responsibilities: The EC may delegate outreach and other responsibilities to the attendee during the event. Deadline: The submission form will be open until Monday, 06 January 2025 Selection Process and Post-CROP Requirements: * Notification: The EC will notify the successful candidate as soon as deliberations are concluded. * CROP Trip Proposal: The successful candidate MUST complete the CROP Trip Proposal by 17 January 2025 or will be unable to travel to ICANN82. * Post-CROP Report: The successful CROP candidate will provide the EC with a standard CROP report, including all meetings attended. They will also be required to write a blog post sharing their experiences and how they contributed to NPOC outreach engagement. This report and blog post are due no later than a week after the meeting concludes. * CROP Travel Assessment Form: The successful candidate will be expected to complete the CROP Travel Assessment Form to evaluate the achievement of their expectations and goals.
