Dear ICANN Policy Development Accelerator Class 1, The next term of the ICANN Policy Development Accelerator will focus on a series of skill-building workshops with topics including collaboration, trust-building, influencing, and problem-solving. Participants will be expected to asynchronously review assigned ICANNLearn courses. Concepts discussed within these assigned courses will be expanded and practiced in a workshop setting during monthly Zoom meetings. The Accelerator requires the sustained participation of each individual contributor. Workshops will frequently move between plenary sessions and small group discussions. The value of this work is found in active collaboration. At the end of the term, participants will engage in a role play exercise, honing the skills necessary for robust participation in ICANN policy and advice development. The monthly Zoom workshops will occur at 13:00 UTC on the last Tuesday of each month for 90 minutes and participants can expect to commit four total hours per month to the Accelerator.
