FW: [ICANNbudget-Registrars] Selected to get elected ;)
here is another person who did not even get a response on how to become a member on the constituency :) .... have removed the name _____ From: Sent: Friday, September 03, 2004 1:32 AM To: registrars@icannbudget.org Subject: Bhavin, <snip> . I even applied to the constitutency but never was accepted nor rejected. No word at all. I just let it ride because I didn't figure they wanted me to be a member. In fact, why do we need to join a organization when ALL registrars should automatically be a member? Why not reduce the fee and have it included in the ICANN fee? I am sure they wouldn't mind raising the fees a littlel more. <snip>
Bhavin, The ExCom is working on getting this straightened out as soon as possible. Bob, There is another one that contacted me in early August. I wrote you (plural, the excom) about it. I didn't notice a response, and I can dig up who it was unless you know you've already taken care of that accredited registrar. Eric

Dear Eric: I take care of the RC list. Donna takes of new members. It would not hurt for you to notify each of us. Personal regards, BobC
Robert, are the person then who would set me up with a voting login on boardrooms.org? -mark On Thu, 2 Sep 2004, Robert F. Connelly wrote:

Dear Mark: I can understand your confusion. In the past, the Treasurer received the funds. He advised the Secretary and the CTO. The CTO edited the file in Boardrooms.org. The CTO no longer edits Boardrooms.org, I do. But I do not have the procedure for assigning userids and passwords. I'm confused, too, but I'm working on it;-) Cordially, BobC

The message I sent to each member of the ExCom is appended. Also, John Barryhill is representing registrar #665 (Domain Name Sales Corp.), and apparently not finding a means to get DNSC to join the RC. My suggestion is that we set a nominal dues number of $1,000 and when ever we actually vote on an RC budget we then dunn or refund the difference. If memory serves it was a promise to pay the former treasurer $800 made days before the WDC RC meeting to both Mike and Rick that made USAWebhost a member, and the situation then was just as confused as it appears to be now, though for a different set of reasons.
