Dear RSSAC Caucus Members, The RSSAC Admin Committee discussed updating RSSAC002 on their last call. Given the lack of interest in updating it the Admin Committee decided that the RSSAC Caucus will not be starting a work party to update RSSAC002 at this time. In two years time (summer 2023) the Caucus will be asked again if RSSAC002 needs to be updated. If there is interest then a work party will be formed for this purpose. This is in accordance with RSSAC002v4 recommendation #3 which states that measurements in RSSAC002 should be reviewed every two years. Thanks, Andrew

In addition, now that RSSAC047 has been around for a while, Caucus members might have ideas about other self-reported metrics that could be added.
Indeed. At the same time, I have to say I'm leery of adding a metric "because someone asked for it" or "it might be interesting"; they involve processing and storage, and therefore should have a substantive argument behind them. Anyone submitting a proposed metric should probably say what it represents and what they expect to learn from it.
