Mostly I like the remedies with only one very minor quibble: ] Note that since AXFR occurs over TCP, this measurement must exclude ] the two-octet size prefix for each message transmitted. "Note that since ... must exclude" implies to me a "because of A, then B" relationship that isn't really accurate. Personally I'd phrase it more like, "Even though AXFR occurs over TCP, ..."
