I encourage people to chime in. I think most if not everyone on the current call time have had to work in and with TZ's all over the world. I believe planting it in the current spot rules out participation from some of our colleagues around the world. Hello all,
Just in case folks missed this important bit tucked away in the WP update email, here it is again. If you want to attend the calls but can't because of the timezone it's in, here's your chance to speak up!
Regards, Robert

On the RSSAC monthly call it was brought up that we should periodically revisit our work party standing meeting time. The point of this is to share the pain a bit, so that Caucus members from more disadvantaged timezones aren't so disadvantaged. This discussion obviously needs to happen on the mailing list, and not on a call that people can't join because the time is bad for them.
So I propose that after every 4 work party meetings I will bring this topic to the list and if someone feels that they're unable to participate because of the standing call time they can speak up. We're never going to find a time that works for everyone, but we also don't want to vary the meeting times so much that they're unpredictable, or that every call has different people showing up.
I'm bringing this up now, so if you feel that the standing call time impacts your participation please speak up. Based on the mailing list discussion the Chairs and staff will determine if we should change the standing work party meeting time.
Thanks, Andrew
