Dear RT, I will be happy if we can discuss further on few of these responsibility as it was stated in the initial call: Responsibilities - Participate in creation of review team governance documents, such as the terms of reference, scope of the review and the timeline; - Review implementation of the first SSR Review Team's recommendations as approved by the ICANN Board; - Select appropriate performance indicators and benchmarks, including considering those recommended <https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/final-report-20jun12-en.pdf> [PDF, 1.16 MB] by the first SSR Review Team, and those on which data has already been collected; - Apply best practices designed to simplify and increase the effectiveness of Reviews as expressed in Reviews Policies, Procedures and Guidelines1 <https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/call-volunteers-cct-rt-2015-10-01-en#f...> ; - Consider public, community and Board input and incorporate it as appropriate in Review Team recommendations; - Determine whether additional data or analysis is needed and participate in an ensuing provider selection, if necessary; - Provide timely updates to the community on the status of the Review Team's work; - Analyze findings; - Draw conclusions based on findings, develop useful and feasible recommendations; - Provide guidance on prioritization of recommendations and definition of desired outcomes; - Provide draft conclusions for input from community, staff and Board; - Deliver a final Review Team report; - Designate Review Team members to participate in the implementation planning work that follows the delivery of the final Review Team report. I would appreciate if we can go through each of these responsibility and have them captured in our Terms of Reference and Work Plan. Hi Kerry
Thanks for your note. I'm not quite sure that I understand the meaning of your message/question. Would it be possible for you to clarify? Sorry to have missed the meaning.
I was also very interested in your comments on the last call about a legal analysis (or at least plain English one) of the bylaws relating to our mandate. Would you be prepared to prepare something on this for the group?
Best wishes
Emily

Morning All
One thing keeps hanging in the back of my mine. Does anyone have the mandate of the SSR Team mandate and scope? I know we had a presentation but we should consider this as a part of our Review team scoping exercise.
Any thoughts?

Thanks Emily,
And for the record as I didn’t put it in writing I’m happy to accept Denise’s suggested wording for the DNS Abuse topic.
“Attacks and misuse of Identifier Systems, including the DNS. Has ICANN effectively fulfilled its limited role in threat mitigation and strengthening those systems capabilities”

Dear Jennifer and SSR2 team members
Thank you for preparing the updated draft of the Terms of Reference. I have made a few comments and suggested edits, in my capacity as a member of the team, rather than a co-chair. I look forward to continuing our discussions.
Best
