T/T call 2 policy language and discussion
Hello all, Please find attached a draft of the proposed policy language for the T/T implementation. Please feel free to redline or annotate with comments and suggestions. We¹ll discuss on our Tuesday call. We¹ll also discuss the status of and issues surrounding the Internationalized Registration Data Working Group¹s Final Report <https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-3-2015-09-25-en> , which provides the data model for the T/T implementation. The two reportsT/T and IRDwere developed in tandem and were meant to be complementary. However, the nuance of the language in each has made the task of reconciling the two quite arduous, and your feedback on it will be much appreciated. Details to follow on Tuesday I¹ve also posted the implementation plan on the wiki. I extended our timeline by a few weeks as I imagine we¹ll have a few issues to discuss as they relate to the IRD report and language tags. Thanks very much all and have a great weekend! Hi all, Not sure if I can attend the call today. Policy language is fine. Not sure about 5 though, how do we vision this? I do not see the advantage here. But perhaps I am missing the point here. I either be on the call or read the transcript. Thanks, Theo Brian Aitchison schreef op 2016-07-30 12:33 AM:

Theo, During the meeting we discussed possible clarification of Brian’s proposed language. Does this help clarify? IF transformation of contact information is carried out, and IF the transformed data is entered into a WHOIS system, THEN transformed data MUST be presented as additional data fields along with the local script fields provided by the registrant, and these fields MUST be marked as transformed and the source of the transformation MUST be indicated. Good Morning, Just getting caught up, I was not available for the first two calls. I am planning to listen to the calls this afternoon. In reviewing the timeline I did not see another call scheduled until August 16th, is that correct? If so, I will post my questions and concerns to the mailing list next week but if we are having a call next week I will just bring them up on the call. Hi Roger, all: Thanks for asking. I¹m going to push back our next call, likely by a week or so. We¹re working on drafting some additional strawman policy language surrounding language/script tags and need to spend some time discussing and refining internally. We¹re also contending with scheduling around everyone¹s holidays during August-September (including mine), so things may take a little longer than normal. Once I¹m able to coordinate a few things on our end, I¹ll send around a doodle poll and invite for our next meeting. I imagine it will take place during the week of 22 August. Thanks very much and let me know of any other questions.
