Dear T/T IRT, In preparation for our call on Thursday, please find attached two documents: 1. An updated implementation plan with details for 2018 (see end of document) 2. An updated T/T policy document based on your latest round of input and discussion on our end Regarding the latter, you’ll note a few broad categories of updates. We: 1. Removed references to “display” of contact information given the term doesn’t necessarily apply to registry/registrar work within RDAP 2. Synced the requirements for language tags from the Internationalized Registration Data Final Report’s model with the RDDS contact information data elements covered in the T/T Final Report 3. Added more accurate definitions of “contact information” based on the T/T PDP WG’s Final Report. We’ll do a high-level review of the policy document on Thursday. After that, we’ll ask for more detailed written edits from the IRT before our next call in 2018 (of course please feel free to provide any written input to the group before Thursday). Here’s our proposed agenda: 1. Review draft policy document – 30 min 2. Review implementation plans for 2018 – 15 min 3. Discuss question(s) for language tag expert, Michael Everson – 15 min * Proposal: What critiques, problems, or issues do you have with the language tag provisions detailed in Section 3 of the T/T policy document? Can you offer any suggestions for more accurate language and/or technical details? Thanks very much for your time everyone. Please let me know of any questions or suggestions.
