Wow, Adobe has decided to update its Flash Player for Linux. Previously, the NPAPI Flash plugin (which allows for use in browsers such as Firefox) was kept at v11.2 for several years now. But in a blog post, Adobe has announced "...we are updating the beta channel with Linux NPAPI Flash Player by moving it forward and in sync with the modern release branch (currently version 23). We have done this significant change to improve security and provide additional mitigation to the Linux community."
